When Damian and Hannah first met at the gym in 2016, little did they know that it would lead them down a path of love, commitment, and a beautiful life together. After getting engaged in 2018, the couple finally tied the knot in 2021 at the charming Hayne House in Kent, and have recently welcomed a gorgeous baby girl into their lives. Hannah describes their wedding day as “just incredible, everything we could have dreamt of.” The couple wanted a day that reflected their personalities and love for creativity. As an artistic soul, Hannah took on much of the wedding planning herself. “I wanted to do as much of it myself as possible,” she shares. From crafting her own wedding dress to designing the floral arrangements and even creating a unique donut and sweet wall, Hannah poured her creativity into every detail. Their wedding was marked by a distinctive style that leaned towards the darker elements without veering into the gothic. The couple’s love for their Victorian home, which they have been renovating for the past five years, is a testament to their shared aesthetic, with black accents featuring prominently throughout. This unique style carried over to their wedding, blending elegance with a touch of moody sophistication. The venue, Hayne House, provided a beautiful backdrop for their special day, captured perfectly by Bubear Photography. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, which forced the couple to move their wedding date twice and restricted the number of guests, Hannah remains positive. “Our day was absolutely amazing,” she says, “but if we could go again, we would definitely make sure everyone was there.”

Hannah’s advice for couples planning their wedding is simple yet profound: “Do what you want for your wedding, don’t think about anyone else. It is your big day and nobody else’s.” She adds, “Don’t sweat the small stuff; guests won’t know what you had planned, so they won’t know if you skip a few bits.” In true fashion, the couple chose to forego traditional speeches, sticking to their desire for a celebration that was truly their own.
