Who or What Is FUN CLUB?
FUN CLUB is a California based indie brand known for turning ordinary items like stationery, party supplies, socks, and more into sassy designs made to make you laugh.
Founded by Caitlin Minges in 2015, FUN CLUB began almost by accident, Caitlin was throwing a surprise party and realised there were no “funny” balloons she could grab, so she made her own. The custom balloons with edgy jokes were a hit, and the brand took off from there!
What started as a small side project out of Caitlin’s living room has since grown into a multi-million dollar gift and stationery brand with a worldwide following. Their mission is simple: to be your one stop shop for gifts for everyone in your life (or, as they like to say, at least the funny and cool ones).
Encouraged by the reaction, Caitlin began selling her funny balloons online, and soon local shops took notice and wanted to stock them too. This early success pushed her to learn the ropes of wholesale retail and expand her stock beyond balloons.
Within a couple of years, FUN CLUB was no longer a one woman side gig, it was a full fledged business.
Fast-forward to today, and Fun Club’s growth has been phenomenal. The company went from that first batch of balloons to offering “everything from party supplies to tote bags” and more. They added greeting cards, stickers, enamel pins, socks, candles, clothing... you name it, they've probably done it!
