such an amazing print! the colours are great and the material is think and comfy with a slight stretch. as always legs are long (thank you!!) and quite tapered (a little too close fitting on my big calves)
Magda Archer
Magda Archer is a London based artist known for her distinctive work combining nostalgic imagery with bold, humorous and often brutally honest phrases.
Born in 1964, Archer studied at Ravensbourne College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Artbefore co-founding the influential illustration duo Archer/Quinell, whose work gained both critical and commercial success between 1988 and 1998.
Her artwork blends vintage inspired imagery with sharp contemporary commentary, creating pieces that are instantly recognisable and often both funny and thought provoking at the same time.
Since her first solo exhibition Crazy Mad at The Cornerhouse in Manchester in 2011, Archer has exhibited widely across the UK and internationally. Her work has appeared in major exhibitions including Peter Blake: About Collages at Tate Liverpool and the celebrated exhibition #givemeeverythingandnothingbaby shown at HOME Manchester and Chapter Arts in Cardiff.
Magda Archer’s artwork has also become part of the visual landscape of London through her iconic public posters created for Flying Leaps, which have become instantly recognisable across the city.
Alongside her fine art practice, Archer regularly collaborates with leading fashion designers and global brands. Her work has appeared in projects with Marc Jacobs, Comme des Garçons and Jenny Packham, bringing her unique visual voice into the world of fashion and design.
