We are so excited to finally introduce the artist behind our newest Rebel Romance print. The incredibly talented Clare Lewis has created something truly special for us, and Earthy Eden is landing this Thursday at 4pm GMT.
Clare has been a creative soul for as long as she can remember. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she was drawing, imagining and building her own little worlds. After studying illustration at university and graduating in 2016, she moved to the vibrant creative hub of Bristol, where her distinctive style has continued to evolve and flourish.
Her work is deeply inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature. Clare’s illustrations are rich with colour, layered textures and thoughtful detail, often carrying a subtle dark edge that gives her designs depth and personality. There is always something more to notice, something quietly powerful beneath the surface. Her art explores the human connection to the natural world, inviting us to slow down, look closer and feel more grounded.
That connection to nature runs through Earthy Eden too. The print is bursting with woodland energy, featuring beautifully illustrated mushrooms, twisting foliage and forest creatures in warm, earthy tones. It feels playful yet grounded, bold yet wearable. Very Rebel Romance. Very Clare.
Clare’s creativity extends beyond fabric. She has designed handcrafted earrings and licensed patterns for a wide range of products including stationery, bringing her signature aesthetic into everyday life. Her portfolio includes collaborations with Penguin Random House, Bravery Mag, Printslinger Ltd and Mary’s Living and Giving, each project showcasing her versatility while staying true to her unmistakable style.
