The Rebel Romance Books and Cats Midi Dress is made for bookish cat people, those whose dream afternoon involves getting lost in a book while a cat inconveniently decides that their lap is the only acceptable place to sit.

Designed by Jen James Design, the gorgeous dark print is packed with curious black cats, colourful stacks of books, open pages, crescent moons, stars, butterflies and tiny magical details. The purple neckline adds an extra pop of colour that makes the whole print sing.

Made from soft 95% cotton and 5% elastane stretch jersey, this alternative midi dress has a gently fitted bodice before flowing into a beautifully swishy midi skirt. And yes, we gave it pockets, because where else are you supposed to keep your bookmarks, phone and emergency cat treats?
