Rebel Romance operations and relevant value chain

1. Purpose

Rebel Romance is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights throughout its own

operations and relevant value chain. We aim to conduct our business in a way that respects the dignity,

rights and wellbeing of people affected by our activities and business relationships.

2. International human rights commitments

Rebel Romance publicly commits to respect human rights and to the principles and rights reflected in the

following internationally recognised frameworks:

• The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

• The rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

• The International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

3. Fundamental principles and rights at work

In line with the International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at

Work, Rebel Romance commits to respect the following fundamental principles and rights:

• Freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

• The elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour, including modern slavery.

• The effective abolition of child labour.

• The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

• A safe and healthy working environment.

4. Dignity, equality and respectful treatment

Rebel Romance expects people connected with its operations to be treated with dignity and respect. We

do not support unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying, victimisation, exploitation, forced labour,

modern slavery or child labour. Employment and working relationships should respect applicable rights

and provide fair and respectful treatment.

5. Safe and healthy working conditions

Rebel Romance recognises the importance of safe and healthy working environments. We expect our

own workplace and relevant business relationships to respect applicable health and safety requirements

and to take reasonable steps to protect the wellbeing of workers.

This commitment applies to Rebel Romance's own operations and informs our approach to relevant

relationships across our value chain. This may include employees, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors

and other business partners whose activities are connected with the products and services we provide.

7. Business relationships

When selecting, maintaining and reviewing relevant business relationships, Rebel Romance will seek to

work with organisations and partners whose practices are compatible with respect for human rights.

Where credible human rights concerns connected with our operations or business relationships are

raised, we will consider the information and determine an appropriate response within our influence and

circumstances.

8. Raising concerns

Workers and other stakeholders may raise relevant concerns through Rebel Romance's established

feedback and grievance processes. Concerns will be considered respectfully and appropriately, and

Rebel Romance does not support retaliation against a person for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

9. Governance and accountability

This Human Rights Commitment is approved at the highest level of Rebel Romance. The Business

Owner has overall accountability for the commitment and for considering human rights within relevant

company decisions, policies and business practices.

10. Public commitment and communication

Rebel Romance will make this Human Rights Commitment publicly available so that employees,

customers, suppliers, manufacturers, collaborators and other stakeholders can understand the standards

and principles to which the company has committed.

11. Review and continuous improvement

Rebel Romance recognises that respecting human rights requires ongoing attention. This commitment

will be reviewed at least annually and may be updated sooner where changes in the business,

stakeholder feedback, identified risks or relevant learning indicate that improvements are appropriate.
