I have been eyeing this beautiful pinafore since launch and am beyond pleased that I finally had the pennies to add to it to my steadily increasing pinafore collection.
The material of this dress is pleasingly soft to the touch upon first wearing and the general quality of the stitching is very impressive given this is one of Rebel Romance's first launches. (It is worth noting that on my pinafore the teeth of the side zip run a little past the zipper stopper so there is the teeniest of gapping there, though its only truly enough for me to notice and does not ruin the line of the dress itself)
Shape wise the skirt of this pinafore has a very sixties fit to it and if, like myself, you have either a bigger bottom or the combo of a short torso/longer legs I would highly recommend the longer length as I did find the skirt migrated a fair bit as I walked. (For reference I am 5'6 and stationary the skirt hits just above my knees)
As always with online purchases I made sure to check the size chart on both the chest and waist measurements to insure I had room enough to add layers under the dress in winter without compromising too much on the overall fit and I was very pleased with how accurate it was.
Over all a very good purchase and you'd better believe I'm keeping my eye on all future launches!
